Our Furminator Review
No doubt that if you are visiting this site then you are
looking for the king of cat brushes. One of the best selling
cat brushes on the market is the FURminator. Why? Well
let me tell you my story. I have two long haired cats,
Hamish and Alfie. My two boys like to shed fur in a big way.
So much so that I was forever having to clean up cat fur
from around the house. Not great when you have grand kids
alergic to cat fur! I have tried most of the cat brushes on
the market. Some were good and some were awful.
I was looking for a cat brush which would allow me to brush
my cats twice a week. The cat brush had to be
able to deal with my two boys and more importantly my cats had
to enjoy me grooming them with the cat brush. I did not want my
cats to loathe me. I really was looking for a cat brush that
dealt with my cats hairball problems. You would have thought
that with all these requirements it would be hard to find an
ideal cat brush. Well I searched the internet and as most
people do I ended up at Amazon. The Furminator has over 743
reviews which is always encouraging.
I went ahead and ordered the FURminator cat brush.
This cat brush came with a 30 day money back guarantee which
indicated that the manufacturer believed in the cat brush. I
was impressed when the FURminator arrived. The cat brush
looked like it had come right out of a cat grooming salon.
It looked sturdier than most other cat brushes.
I gave the FURminator for cats a trial run on Hamish,
who absolutely hates being groomed. The cat brush really was
smooth over his fur and was both comfortable to handle and
comfortable for him. What I like about the FURminator is that
it does not cut or pull the hair from your cat. What this cat
brush does is removes the dead hair by grabbing it and holding
it in the brush. This leaves the healthy fur and ensures that
healthy oils are retained in my cats coats. It even comes with
an ejector button for easy disposal of the fur collected on the
cat brush.
Does it life up to its claim of removing 90% of your cat's
dead fur? Well I can honestly say it does and both Alfie and
Hamish love me grooming them with the FURminator.
Where do you begin when reviewing the Furminator for
cats tool? Well, I have
personally tried just about every cat
brush on the market over the years.
Whilst I am not a vet, I usually rate the products I have
tried by the results of my two cats, Alfie and Hamish. Both my
cats are long haired and shed a huge amount of hair between
them. Not only does this cause havoc around the house but more
importantly has made both of them prone to hairballs. Based on
the manufacturer's claims above, I had to give the furminator
for cats tool a go.
Before using the furminator tool, I would use two kinds of
cat brushes. The first was a rubber curry brush similar to the
cat zoom groom. The second cat brush had long bristles to rake
the undercoat. Not particularly comfortable for my boys! I used
to end up covered in hair and left with two very grumpy cats.
The outcome was that I used to shy away from my cat grooming
responsibilities and let their hair shed all over the
house.
When the furminator for cats tool arrived, on first
impressions it looked like a sturdy tool. I opted for the
medium furminator tool and I am a great believer that you get
what you pay for. I also wanted to be able to groom Alfie and
Hamish in the quickest time possible!
I was amazed at the amount of time that the
furminator for
cats tool saved. Normal grooming
of my cats would take twenty minutes each but this cat brush
had the job done in ten minutes. In no time the furminator
tool had done the job of my usual routine of using the curry
brush and rake.
However besides saving time, I was impressed by how good
both cats' coats looked. It was as if I had taken them to the
local cat groomer. After the first week I thought I would take a
step back and review the furminator for cats tool again. You
can always get carried away by the results of a cat brush after
your first experience with it. The manufacturers of the
furminator tool promise that your cats will shed less hair
between grooming. this is extremely important to me as I am the
one who cleans the house! During my twice weekly house cleaning
duties I did notice that there was substantially less hair on
the carpets and furniture.
The furminator tool lives up to its promise. I would
recommend the Furminator to anyone who has problems with cats
shedding hair. Not only has the furminator for
cats tool stopped my cats from having hairballs,
it has lessened my cleaning duties around the house and keeps
Alfie and Hamish's coats really shiny.I would recommend that
you buy a furminator tool today and see the difference this cat
brush makes (it also comes with a 30 day money-back guarantee
from the manufacturer.)
